I've been playing guitar for 15 years, but I was stuck and couldn't find the motivation to improve. Benjamin has exceeded my expectations! He is a great teacher of guitar and composition. His teaching style is positive and inspires you to push yourself. He is really good technically, understands my goals well, knows how to explain musical harmony clearly, and is very rigorous about the details that make a difference (precise hand and finger positioning). He is interested in music in the broadest sense and even offers to explore other areas such as composition and computer-assisted music if desired.
In just one guitar lesson with Benjamin, I understood what I hadn't been able to grasp in years of watching YouTube tutorials. Thanks to him, my compositions are better and richer, and I find myself composing things I never thought I was capable of! Thank you!
I was completely won over by his teaching style. A few months with him helped me progress more than years of practicing on my own! He understood my expectations and guided me toward the essential concepts I needed to master in order to achieve my goals. Benjamin knows how to teach music theory in simple terms, which I believe is his strength. He knows how to turn a beginner into a real guitarist!
I have been taking guitar and composition lessons with Benjamin for a year now. He has been able to adapt completely to my expectations and style. His strengths are his teaching skills, patience, and enthusiasm! His passion for music and his teaching techniques are more than enough to motivate me to progress.

The duration and frequency of lessons are flexible. In general, a session lasts 1 hour, but 30-minute lessons are also possible. The frequency is tailored to your availability and goals.
What is the price of your lessons?
Lessons are charged at €45 for 1 hour and €25 for 30 minutes. An invoice can be issued on request.
Do you have any teaching resources available?
Yes, each lesson comes with appropriate materials: sheet music in Guitar Pro or PDF format, exercises, video recordings of the lesson (upon request), and theoretical resources to help you progress between sessions.
Can you help me prepare for a concert or an exam?
Absolutely. Whether it’s for an exam, a concert, a recording, or a composition project, I can provide you with targeted support to help you achieve your goals.
What tools or software do you use for classes and computer-assisted music?
I mainly work with Cubase for production, recording, and composition lessons. For guitar lessons, I also use Guitar Pro. I can also guide you on other software if needed.
For guitar lessons
Do you need to know how to read music to play the guitar?
No, you don’t need to know music theory to start playing guitar. We’ll start with tablature, which is much easier to read. You can learn music theory later on.
How long does it take to play a simple piece?
With regular practice (15-30 minutes per day), you can play basic songs in just a few weeks. It all depends on your motivation and the complexity of the song. The songs we will learn will be selected based on your level and musical tastes.
I don't have much time, can I still make progress?
Yes, even 30 minutes a day can make a difference! I’ll help you optimize your time with targeted exercises and realistic goals.
I'm stuck on a technical part, how can I get past it?
We will analyze your technical difficulties and any mistakes you make that are preventing you from progressing. We will implement a method accompanied by specific exercises to overcome this obstacle.
How can I develop my musical ear and sense of rhythm?
We will train your ear with specific exercises (recognizing intervals, chords, melodies, etc.) and analyze songs to put what we have learned into practice.
We will also work on rhythm, starting with basic rhythms before moving on to more complex ones, using a metronome or drums.
For composition classes
Do you need to know how to play an instrument to compose music?
No, it’s not mandatory, but it’s a huge asset! With an instrument, you can test your ideas live (piano, guitar, etc.). With music theory and computer-assisted music software, you can start composing simple pieces.
I have no musical training, can I still compose?
Yes! Many famous composers were self-taught and had no formal training. However, we will need to learn music theory, how to structure a piece, and how to create themes. We will also study the interaction between different instruments in a band or orchestra.
Which music production software should you use for composing?
I mainly work with Cubase for music composition. I can teach you how to use Cubase (or other software), basic mixing, and how to record your instruments to achieve a professional sound.
I want to specialize in a particular style (jazz, metal, rock, blues, etc.). How should I adapt my lessons?
Specializing in a style means learning its codes and all the characteristics that define it. You will learn its technical characteristics as well as its rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic features, and the specificities of its sound range.
I want to compose music for movies or video games. Where should I start?
Composing for images is a profession in its own right, with specific constraints and techniques. We will analyze original soundtracks from films and video games. We will also learn how to create leitmotifs and musical themes adapted to the scene or character. We will also learn how to experiment with sound textures and sound design to create immersive and atmospheric textures. Finally, we will learn all the technical constraints of using virtual instruments (VST) in order to achieve the most realistic result possible.
Who am I?

I want to give each of my students an original and unique perspective on music and composition.
