Absolutely. Whether it’s for an exam, a concert, a recording, or a composition project, I can provide you with targeted support to help you achieve your goals.

I mainly work with Cubase for production, recording, and composition lessons. For guitar lessons, I also use Guitar Pro. I can also guide you on other software if needed.

For guitar lessons

No, you don’t need to know music theory to start playing guitar. We’ll start with tablature, which is much easier to read. You can learn music theory later on.

With regular practice (15-30 minutes per day), you can play basic songs in just a few weeks. It all depends on your motivation and the complexity of the song. The songs we will learn will be selected based on your level and musical tastes.

Yes, even 30 minutes a day can make a difference! I’ll help you optimize your time with targeted exercises and realistic goals.

We will analyze your technical difficulties and any mistakes you make that are preventing you from progressing. We will implement a method accompanied by specific exercises to overcome this obstacle.

We will train your ear with specific exercises (recognizing intervals, chords, melodies, etc.) and analyze songs to put what we have learned into practice.
We will also work on rhythm, starting with basic rhythms before moving on to more complex ones, using a metronome or drums.

For composition classes

No, it’s not mandatory, but it’s a huge asset! With an instrument, you can test your ideas live (piano, guitar, etc.). With music theory and computer-assisted music software, you can start composing simple pieces.

Yes! Many famous composers were self-taught and had no formal training. However, we will need to learn music theory, how to structure a piece, and how to create themes. We will also study the interaction between different instruments in a band or orchestra.

I mainly work with Cubase for music composition. I can teach you how to use Cubase (or other software), basic mixing, and how to record your instruments to achieve a professional sound.

Specializing in a style means learning its codes and all the characteristics that define it. You will learn its technical characteristics as well as its rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic features, and the specificities of its sound range.

Composing for images is a profession in its own right, with specific constraints and techniques. We will analyze original soundtracks from films and video games. We will also learn how to create leitmotifs and musical themes adapted to the scene or character. We will also learn how to experiment with sound textures and sound design to create immersive and atmospheric textures. Finally, we will learn all the technical constraints of using virtual instruments (VST) in order to achieve the most realistic result possible.
